31st Annual Traders Point
Charity Horse Show

The Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show, benefiting Riley Hospital
for Children, is being held at Wild Air Farms—one of the
true jewels of the Midwest. This beautiful, private estate plays
host to guests, horses, and riders on Tuesday, August 12th through
Sunday, August 17th.
The 31th annual show features two Grand Prix events. The exciting
$30,000 Marty and Russ Fortune Memorial Grand Prix which takes place
on Friday evening. And the always breathtaking $60,000 Budweiser
Grand Prix, final event in an extraordinary week of hunters and
show jumpers. The Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show Country
Fair opens on Tuesday, August 12th and continues through Sunday,
the 17th. The Country Fair features a wide variety of antiques,
jewelry, gifts, tack supplies, and clothing along with a variety
food and beverages.
Judged by any standard, the Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show’s
stature and national recognition is unparalleled. Originally a
three day event with 200 horses, the schedule now covers six days,
houses over 800 stalls, and features the best hunter/jumper horses
and riders in the country. The Chronicle of the Horse, the recognized
leader in horse show publications, ranked the Traders Point Hunt
Charity Horse Show as one of the five best in the United States.
The other four are the Devon, the Pennsylvania National, Washington
International and Meadowlands. Last but not least, in the past
20 years, the show has donated more than $800,000 to charity.
With this year’s Country Fair, the color and pageantry of
the hunters and the crowd-tingling excitement of the jumpers,
the 31st anniversary of the Traders Point Charity Horse Show promises
to be a truly outstanding sporting event.
